"Nature protection in law and practice" e-learning cours
"Nature protection in law and practice" free e-learning course was created by the General Directorate for Environmental Protection under the project LIFE15 GIE/PL/000758 You have the right to effective nature protection. The course contains basic information about nature conservation regulations and competences of organs and institutions and also discusses the possibility of public participation in environmental protection.
The course consists of three modules. The substantive content of these modules are based mainly on regulations contained in the Act of 16 April 2004 on the Nature Conservation. Acquiring knowledge is diversified by interactive exercises. In addition, the course authors suggest where to look for practical information, such as a list of plants, animals and fungi protected under species protection. The course takes up to 5 hours. After that it is possible to start the knowledge test and generate a personal certificate.
The course was launched in January 2018 on the e-learning platform e-natura2000.gdos.gov.pl. Almost 8,000 people completed it throughout 2018.
