26 applications were awarded in the second edition of "Intervention for nature" competition, organized for police and municipal police units as part of the project LIFE15 GIE/PL/000758 You have the right to effective nature protection. The competition task consisted in describing interventions related to nature conservation, which took place in the last two years. The interventions submitted in the competition mainly concerned plants, animals and fungi species protection, as well as in individual cases, protected landscape area, landscape park and Natura 2000 area.

17 out of 26 interventions required consultation with external entities, such us regional directorates for environmental protection, voivodeship inspectorates for environmental protection and commune offices. Notifications which initiate the interventions mainly came from the state authorities (9 notifications) and from an individual person (7 notifications).

The second edition of the competition lasted from 9 July 2018 to 26 September 2018. The competition aimed to promote effective nature protection and knowledge about Natura 2000 areas. The winners of the competition were awarded high-class flashlights and binoculars to use for field work and nature books as well. The first edition of the competition ended on 20 May 2018 without selecting winners.
